
Update: Motorcycle Driver Killed Crash With Pickup Near Rochester Lowe’s Store
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- There was a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist in southeast Rochester Monday.

Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office Captain Tim Parkin said Tuesday morning that two vehicles were involved in the deadly collision.
It happened around 5:00 Monday afternoon. A passing motorist reported seeing Mayo One Helicopter at the scene.

Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With Pickup in Southeast Rochester
The fatal crash occurred near the intersection of 48th Street SE and St. Bridget's Rd. SE. Parkin says a pickup truck and motorcycle collided.
First responders performed life-saving measures on the motorcyclist but they were pronounced dead at the scene, Parkin said.
The name of the motorcycle operator has not been released.
Pickup Driver Avoids Injury
Authorities are describing the pickup driver as a Rochester man. He escaped the fatal crash without injuries, the sheriff’s office says.

His name has also not been released. Parkin says the deadly crash is under investigation.
10th Death in 6 Days on MN Roads
The motorcycle operator is the 10th person to die in a crash on Minnesota’s roads in the past six days.
Four of those deaths have happened in southeast Minnesota.
