
North Shore Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Minnesota Man
Silver Bay, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota man lost his life in a motorcycle crash along the north shore over the weekend.

He was the only person involved in the fatality. The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash shortly after 11:00 Sunday morning.
The deadly crash happened on Hwy. 61 in between Silver Bay and Caribous Falls, which is about 47 miles up the shore from Two Harbors.
Authorities say the motorcycle was traveling south when it entered the ditch then struck a road sign and brush.

62-year-old Douglas J Studanski of New London was identified as the motorcycle operator. The Kandiyohi County man was pronounced dead at the scene, the state crash report says.
Studanski was wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the crash report.
