
Young Man Identified as Victim of Fatal Minnesota Rollover Crash

Good Thunder, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young Minnesota man lost his life in a rollover crash in rural southern Minnesota.

A news release issued Monday evening by the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office says the deadly crash occurred shortly after 12:30 Sunday morning.
The fatal crash victim was the only occupant of the only vehicle involved.

21-Year-Old Man Killed in Southern Minnesota Rollover Crash, Authorities Investigating
Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting someone being trapped under a truck on 552nd Ave. just north of Good Thunder, which is about 13 miles south of Mankato.
First responders found a pick-up resting on its roof upon arriving at the scene, the news release says.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates the pick-up was traveling north before rolling into a field on the eastern side of the rural road.
Authorities identified the driver as 21-year-old Jacob Richard Farrell of Lake Crystal. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the news release.
Officials say he was partially ejected from the vehicle before becoming trapped.
The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol are investigating the single-vehicle fatality.
