
7-Vehicle I-94 Crash Claims Young Minneapolis Woman’s Life, Injures Child & 7 Others
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Twin Cities woman lost her life in a crash that injured a child and seven others on I-94 in Minneapolis Wednesday night.

Seven vehicles were involved in the deadly crash. The State Patrol responded to the fatality along the eastbound I-94 off ramp to Lyndale Ave.
A pick-up truck traveling at a high rate of speed struck multiple vehicles and caused severe damage, the state crash report says.
The 26-year-old Minneapolis woman killed in the collision was riding in a Jeep that was hit during the crash. Authorities plan to release her name and more information about her death on Thursday afternoon.

The Jeep driver was not hurt. 29-year-old Talon Covie-Cadrell Walker of St. Paul was identified as the driver of the pick-up. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The state crash report says Walker was under the influence of alcohol.

20-year-old Taniyah Renee Randle-Smith of St. Paul was riding with Walker. She was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A GMC SUV transporting six people was also involved in the fatal crash. The driver, identified as 38-year-old Abass Abdulbasite Boke of Anoka, a two-year-old boy, 31-year-old Seham M Alsharmani and 30-year-old Nabilah M Alshar-Mani were all brought to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 5-year-old boy and 43-year-old passenger in the GMC were not hurt.
62-year-old Michael William Henning of Burnsville and 22-year-old Luis Vincente Withrow of Minneapolis were driving SUVs that was struck in the crash.
Both men were treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of a car that was also involved in the fatality was not hurt.
