
Fire Erupts Overnight – Garage Lost in SE Rochester Blaze
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An early morning fire wiped out a garage at a residence in southeast Rochester.
The Rochester Fire Department says crews were dispatched to a home at 1720 19th Avenue Southeast just before 3:30 AM after receiving a report of a residential structure fire. A news release says 911 callers indicated it involved a trailer home, but the first firefighters to arrive at the scene found that a detached garage was burning.
The statement says a significant fire was showing in the garage and it was spreading to the nearby residence. The garage and its contents were a total loss and there was moderate fire damage to the exterior of the home.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
