Sleepy Eye, MN (KROC-AM News) - Somehow no one was seriously injured when a freight train plowed into a semi-truck in south-central Minnesota Friday afternoon.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office has released a dash camera video of the spectacular crash along Highway 14 near Sleepy Eye. It shows a semi-truck driven by 24-year-old Robert Jewett of New Richland attempting to make a right turn off the highway into a business when the westbound Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad train smashed into the semi trailer, which was loaded with grain.
The Sheriff's Office says there were two railroad employees on the train. They were identified as 56-year-old Jeffrey Schafer and 57-year-old Thomas Behsman of Madison Lake.

A news release on the incident indicates all three men were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The semi tractor and the train engine were damaged, while the semi trailer was totaled.
The collision occurred around 2:15 PM.
