
Five Children Hurt in I-90 Rollover Near Winona
Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - Seven people, including five children, were injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-90 in Winona County this morning.
State Patrol Investigating I-90 Rollover
The State Patrol says the crash was reported around 7:35 a.m. on eastbound I-90 at the Highway 43 interchange, approximately five miles southwest of Winona. The preliminary crash report indicates there were nine people in a Sprinter van when it left the freeway and rolled.

The driver was identified as 44-year-old Dhavalkumar Bharatkumar Doshi of South Elgin, Illinois. The State Patrol says he was transported by ambulance to Winona Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

2 adults and 5 children hurt
Six of his passengers also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol says four children, ranging in age from 10 to 13 years old, were transported to Winona Health for treatment. The crash report indicates an 11-year-old child and a 37-year-old adult were also injured but did not require hospitalization.

The State Patrol says alcohol was not involved, and all but one of the occupants of the van, an 11-year-old boy, were wearing seat belts.
