Fire wipes out Rochester residence

A Rochester mobile home was wiped out by a fire last night.  Fire crews were sent to the Oak Terrace Estates site along Marion Road around 11 p.m. and although the blaze was brought under control right away, the damage to the home was extensive.  Firefighters were able to save most of the personal belongings of the occupants.  No injuries were reported but one person was treated at the scene for smoke

inhalation.  The investigation into the cause of the blaze is centering on a nearby campfire.
