
Firefighters Respond to Fire at Popular Rochester Restaurant
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Fire Department responded today to a fire at a popular local restaurant.
A news release says the fire was reported around 8:20 AM at the Los Arcos Kitchen and Cantina location at 7386 Airport View Drive Southwest near the Rochester International Airport. It was reported to the fire department that sprinklers inside the building had activated and water was flowing out of the back door.

The fire department says the first fire crews to arrive at the scene observed smoke inside the restaurant and upgraded the call to a full structure fire response. After entering the building, firefighters discovered a kitchen appliance on fire and were able to quickly extinguish it using a pressurized water can.
No injuries were reported. The fire destroyed the kitchen appliance and there was minimal smoke and water damage to the kitchen area.
