Four Dead After Two Crashes

Two Children Killed In Western Wisconsin Crash

(Prescott, WI) MNN  --  Two children are dead after a crash just across the border in Prescott, Wisconsin.  The Pierce County Sheriff's Department says a car driven by 32-year-old Kari Milberg, of Centuria collided with a truck on Highway 35 Thursday.  A 12-year-old girl in Milberg's car was pronounced dead at the scene.  A five-year-old girl, also a passenger in the car, was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died.  Milberg and two other children in the vehicle are being treated for injuries at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.  None of the three occupants of the truck were injured.

Two Killed In Head-On Crash In Norman County

(Gary, MN) MNN  --  Two people are dead after a head-on crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 32 in northwestern Minnesota's Norman County.  The State Patrol says a southbound vehicle driven by 76-year-old Doris Hanson of Brooks swerved into the northbound lane and collided with a car driven by 66-year-old James Bateson of Gary.  Both drivers died at the scene.  The accident report shows the roadway was dry and both victims were buckled up.
