Girl Arrested in Stolen Vehicle Involved in Rochester Hit & Run
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police have arrested a teenage girl suspected of stealing a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run.
Limited information has been released, however a Rochester Police Department spokeswoman says the stolen vehicle arrest happened around 7:40 p.m. Monday.
Officers identified the suspect vehicle in the area of Silver Lake in northeast Rochester. Police moved in and arrested the driver, described as a juvenile female.
Police also learned the suspected stolen vehicle is alleged to have been involved in a hit-and-run reported earlier in the day on Monday.
Following her arrest the juvenile driver was transported to the Anoka County Adult Detention Center. Her name is not being released.
