MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota quarterback Mitch Leidner is still working his way back from a concussion and coach Tracy Claeys says it's likely that Conor Rhoda will start on Saturday against Rutgers.

Leidner was listed as out by the team on Tuesday, though that designation is open to re-evaluation later in the week. Claeys says Leidner has been cleared to do some light work in practice this week. But the coach says it will be hard for his senior to get enough reps to prepare for the game.

That means Rhoda, a former walk-on, should start for the second straight week. He was solid in his first start last week, a 31-10 win at Maryland that snapped Minnesota's two-game skid to start Big Ten play.
