
Guilty Plea Entered in Rochester Mother’s Day Home Invasion
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A guilty plea has been entered by one of the five people arrested after a violent Mother’s Day home invasion in Rochester.
Olmsted County Court documents indicate 22-year-old Anthony Lamar Alexander and three other Rochester men were charged in connection with a break-in at a condominium in northwest Rochester on the afternoon of May 11. The other defendants are 19-year-old Brandon Lawson, 18-year-old Jamykeal Gill-Sanders, and 24-year-old Kane Lee Williams. Rochester police also arrested a juvenile girl in the case, but it’s unknown if she was charged.
Victim Surprised by Shattering Glass
According to the criminal complaints, police responded to the residence and the victim told officers he was inside his bathroom when he heard a “bang” on the sliding glass door and then saw the glass shatter as four intruders rushed into his home and one of them was armed with a handgun. The man stated that the group assaulted him in an attack that was video recorded by a juvenile girl.

Court documents state the intruders stole $3,000 in cash and a pair of shoes valued at around $1,800.
Police Were Told the Suspects Visited the Residence Before the Attack
The criminal complaint says the victim also told investigators he knew the juvenile girl from school and through socializing. He also indicated that the alleged intruders had been invited as guests at his home the day before the burglary.

Alexander was charged with three counts of aiding and abetting first-degree burglary, aiding and abetting felony theft, and aiding and abetting misdemeanor assault. He entered guilty pleas today to a charge of aiding and abetting first-degree burglary involving an assault, as well as the misdemeanor assault charge.
Alexander is scheduled to be sentenced in April.
The criminal cases against the three other men are still pending.
