Hayfield Woman Caught Driving with BAC of .35
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Hayfield-area woman has been charged with DUI after tests showed she had a blood/alcohol concentration of .35 after her arrest Wednesday evening.
Rochester police were contacted by a motorist around 7 p.m. about a car that was “all over the road” while driving on 19th St NW near West Circle Dr.
The motorist who called stayed behind the suspected DUI driver as she drove toward Byron on back roads. The caller told police the female was still driving erratically at a high rate of speed and had almost collided with a car and a motorcycle.
City police officers and Olmsted County deputies became involved and the woman finally stopped her car in Byron and was arrested. She has been identified as 28-year-old Amanda Senjem.
Police say Senjem was so bombed she could not be admitted to jail and was taken to the detox center.
