Former Rochester State Representative Fran Bradley joined Andy Brownell on KROC-AM's Rochester Today show on Tuesday.

During his days in the State Legislature, Bradley immersed himself in issues dealing with health care and chaired the Health and Human Services Committee.

His knowledge of the health care system and its finances led to an interesting discussion about ObamaCare as the White House and the State of Minnesota prepare for the start of what could be another bumpy open enrollment period this fall.

The show was especially timely, seeing as moments after Bradley left the studio it was announced that PreferredOne had informed the state the company will not be offering coverage through MNsure in 2015. The Minnesota-based insurer had the lowest premiums and covered almost 60-percent of the people who purchased private insurance policies through the state's online health insurance exchange this year.
