High Risk Sex Offender Released From Prison
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Department will hold a public notification Monday evening to discuss the recent release of a high-risk sex offender into the community.
42-year-old Kevin Tyrone Williams was sentenced to just under 3 years in prison for a felony domestic assault conviction in 2015, but his lengthy criminal history includes cases where the charges against him included allegations of sexual assault and the use of guns, force and threats to gain compliance from the victim. As a Level 3 Offender, State Corrections officials consider him to be a high risk for committing additional crimes.
He has moved into a residence in the 3800 block of Highway 14 East in Marion Township under intensive supervision. The notification meeting will take place at Victory Baptist Church in Rochester at 6pm Monday.
