
71-Year-Old Woman Taken to Hospital Following Southeast Minnesota Crash
An SUV traveling north on the curvy two-lane highway left the roadway and crashed into the ditch, according to the state crash report.
Rushford, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorist was hospitalized after crashing on a southeast Minnesota highway.

She was driving the only vehicle involved in the accident and a passenger was with her. The State Patrol responded to the single-vehicle crash shortly before 4:00 Monday afternoon.

71-Year-Old Rushford Woman Injured in Crash on Hwy. 43 in Fillmore County
The crash occurred on Hwy. 43 about five miles south of Rushford.
An SUV traveling north on the curvy two-lane highway left the roadway and crashed into the ditch, according to the state crash report.
71-year-old May Louise Himlie of Rushford was driving the SUV. She was taken to a hospital in Winona with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

73-year-old Darrell Craig Himlie was riding with her. The State Patrol says the Rushford man escaped the crash without injuries.
Both of the SUV occupants were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
Rushford Fire and Ambulance also responded to the single-vehicle crash.
