
Mabel Driver Jailed After Hwy. 52 Crash Sends Teen to Hospital
Canton, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage boy was taken to a hospital following an alcohol-involved crash on Hwy. 52.

It occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday about two miles north of the Minnesota-Iowa border.
Three people were involved in the two-vehicle crash, according to the State Patrol.

17-Year-Old Brought to Hospital After Car & Pick-up Collide on Hwy. 52 Near Canton
A northbound pick-up and southbound car collided on the two-lane highway, according to the state crash report.
A 17-year-old boy was driving the car. The State Patrol says he was taken to a hospital in Iowa however, an update on his condition is not available. His name has not been released.
22-year-old Daniel L. Yoder of Mabel was identified as the pick-up truck driver. Yoder and his passenger, identified as 24-year-old Jacob A Hershberger of Harmony, escaped the crash without injuries, the State Patrol says.
Yoder had alcohol in his system at the time of the crash and was not buckled, the state crash report says.
He was booked into the Fillmore County Jail on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation and DWI following the crash.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
