
Driver & Passenger After Fleeing Crash Scene on Hwy. 52 Near Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A suspected drunk driver is in custody after fleeing the scene of the crash.

That’s according to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol. Authorities responded to the ordeal around 7:15 Tuesday night.
A pickup and semi were involved in the crash that preceded the alleged fleeing incident.

State Patrol: Motorist Who Fled Crash at Hwy. 52 & I-90 Interchange Arrested on Suspicion of DWI, Other charges
State Patrol dispatch took the report of a driving complaint regarding the pickup in the area of Hwy. 52 and Interstate 90, which is southeast of Rochester.
The pickup collided with the semi as it passed the semi as both vehicles were traveling north on Hwy. 52. The semi came to rest on the right-hand shoulder and the pickup entered the ditch, according to the State Patrol.
Both occupants of the pick-up fled the vehicle, the State Patrol says. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist at the scene and deployed their drone.
Authorities found the driver in a nearby wooded area and located the passenger near a creek. Both were taken into custody without incident, according to the State Patrol report.
Authorities identified the pickup driver as 24-year-old Milton Adalid Martinez of Rochester.
He was arrested on suspicion of 4th Degree DWI, No Minnesota Driver’s License, No Insurance on Motor Vehicle, Fail to Drive with Due Care, the State Patrol says.
The names of the passenger and the truck driver have not been released. No injuries were reported.
