The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Tuesday, says the new charges stem from a drug bust that occurred in Rochester last year.
Authorities found hundreds of grams of methamphetamine after executing search warrants, the court document states.

Rochester Drug Offender Charged for Large Meth Bust at Hwy. 52 Interchange
46-year-old Brian Ven Vangrevenhof is charged with first-degree drug sales and first-degree drug possession.
The complaint says members of the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crime Enforcement Team executed the search warrant on February 23 last year on a vehicle driven by Vangrevenhof on the Hwy. 52 south off-ramp at the 75th St. NW interchange.
During the search, authorities found a drawstring bag containing two baggies of suspected methamphetamine. One baggie weighed 454.1 grams and the other weighed 453.8 grams, the charges say.
Authorities then executed a search warrant at Vangrevenhof’s home and found two digital scales with a residue that tested positive for meth, the complaint says.

In an interview with law enforcement, Vangrevenhof admitted to obtaining two pounds of meth and that he was bringing it to his home for distribution.
Court records indicate Vangrevenhof was convicted of first-degree drug sales and second-degree drug possession in 2018.
He was given a nearly nine year prison sentence but was released to supervision in July of 2020, according to Minnesota Department of Corrections records.
He is due to make his first court appearance in the new case later this year.
