
Eyota Teen & Red Wing Woman Suffer Injuries in Hwy. 14 Crash Near Rochester
Eyota, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two southeast Minnesotans were injured in a collision on Hwy. 14 near Rochester Saturday.

The State Patrol responded to the two vehicle crash shortly before 5 p.m.
An SUV and sedan were involved in the crash. The teen girl was riding in the sedan.

Two Injured in Crash Between Sedan at SUV at Hwy. 14 Intersection East of Rochester
The two-vehicle crash occurred just east of Rochester at the intersection of Hwy. 14 and Chester Rd. SE.
The sedan was eastbound on Hwy. 14 and the SUV was traveling north on Chester Rd. SE when the vehicles collided in the intersection, according to the state crash report.
73-year-old Donna Lynn Steffenhagen of Red Wing was identified as the SUV driver. She was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.

18-year-old Ella Rae Kirtz of Eyota was driving the Sedan. The State Patrol says she was not hurt.
14-Year-Old Girl Taken to Hospital
Kirtz’s passenger, described as a 14-year-old girl from Eyota, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to St. Mary’s Hospital, the State Patrol says.

All three occupants were buckled up and alcohol was not suspected of being involved in the crash, the state crash report indicates.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance, Eyota Ambulance, the Rochester Fire Department and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the collision.
