
Crash on Slick I-90 Near Rochester Sends Pair of Young Men to the Hospital
A westbound vehicle crashed into the median after the driver lost control on the slick interstate, the state crash report says.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash on Interstate 90 in Olmsted County sent two people to the hospital Wednesday night.

The State Patrol says snow and ice were on the freeway at the time of the crash. One vehicle was involved in the crash, which occurred shortly before 9 p.m.

2 Illinois Men Injured After Crash on Slick I-90 Southeast of Rochester
The crash occurred a mile east of the I-90/Hwy. 52 interchange. A westbound vehicle crashed into the median after the driver lost control on the slick interstate, the state crash report says.
24-year-old Alfonso I Figuera Marcano of Hanover Park, IL was identified as the driver. The State Patrol identified his passenger as 24-year-old Malvin Antonio Sanchez Mendez of Hanover Park, IL.
Both men were taken to a hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
Figuera Marcano and Sanchez Mendez were both buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.
