Injuries Reported After Truck-Car Collision in NW Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester police are reporting that a truck driver was issued a traffic citation following an injury crash this morning.
Police spokesperson Amanda Grayson says the two vehicle collision occurred just after 8 AM on 37th St., Northwest near Highway 52. It involved a box truck and a passenger car.
A preliminary report says the driver and passenger in the car were transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was ticketed for failure to obey a traffic signal and speed greater than reasonable or due care.
The names of the truck driver and the injured driver and passenger from the other vehicle have not been released.
