Convicted Felon Accused of Breaking into Rochester Home
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A convicted felon with a criminal history dating back to 2010 has been accused of breaking into a Rochester home.

The criminal complaint, which was filed in Olmsted County Court on Thursday, says Rochester police responded to the burglary on Tuesday evening. The victimized home is in southwest Rochester.
A neighbor told officers she saw someone enter the empty house next door. Police were then shown video footage captured by a different neighbor that depicted the suspect entering the home.
Homeless Man Accused of Burglarizing Rochester Residence
He was identified by the officers as 37-year-old George Dee McIntosh, Jr., according to the complaint. He is listed as homeless in Rochester in the court document.
Officers entered the home and did not find anyone inside, however police found a backpack containing paperwork with McIntosh Jr.’s name on it. There was also garbage and other items present that were reported not to have previously been inside of the home, the court filing says.
The court document also says several rings and a house key were missing from the residence. Officers found and arrested McIntosh Jr. at an undisclosed location in southwest Rochester later Tuesday night.
McIntosh Jr. has been charged with a felony count of second-degree burglary and is being held on $50,000 bail.
Court records indicate he was convicted of felony threats in Olmsted County last year and in Faribault County in 2021.
His criminal record also includes a felony conviction of tampering with electronic monitoring. McIntosh is due back in court next month.
