
Teen Woman Injured in Crash at Fillmore County Intersection
Preston, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage woman from southeast Minnesota was injured in a crash at a Fillmore County intersection Wednesday morning.

She was driving one of two vehicles involved. The drivers were the lone occupants of each vehicle.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 7:45 a.m.

18-Year-Old Spring Valley Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash West of Preston
An SUV and car collided at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and Fillmore County Rd. 11, which is about four miles west of Preston.
The car was heading east on Hwy. 16 and the SUV was southbound on County Rd. 11 when the vehicles collided, the state crash report says.
18-year-old Emma Jean Broadwater of Spring Valley was identified as the driver of the car. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for further care.
Owatonna Man Identified as Other Driver
The driver of the SUV was identified as 53-year-old Gregory David Lenz of Owatonna. He was not injured, according to the State Patrol.
Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the two-vehicle collision, the state crash report indicates.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office, Preston Fire and Preston Ambulance also responded to the crash scene.
