
Child Airlifted After ATV Crash in Northern Minnesota
Hibbing, MN (MinnesotaNow) - A young child was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries following an all-terrain vehicle crash in northern Minnesota.
Driver, Two Children Ejected During ATV Incident
The Hibbing Police Department today reported that officers responded Friday evening to a report of an ATV crash with injuries. A statement says officers determined that the ATV was being driven by an adult man with two juvenile passengers when he lost control and collided with an object. The driver and both passengers were ejected in the crash.

9-Year-Old Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries
Hibbing officials say one of the passengers, a 9-year-old girl, was airlifted to a Duluth hospital with life-threatening injuries. A 4-year-old girl suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officials say the driver of the ATV did not require medical treatment.

The names of the driver and the children injured in the crash have not been released.
The news release on the incident says investigators determined alcohol was not a contributing factor.
