
School Bus With Two Children on Board Involved in Southern Minnesota Injury Crash
Easton, MN (MinnesotaNow)- A school bus was involved in a southern Minnesota injury crash on Tuesday.

That’s according to the State Patrol which responded to the two-vehicle crash shortly after 4:15 Tuesday afternoon. The other vehicle was an SUV.
Three children were riding in the vehicles when they collided.

School Bus Transporting Two Children & SUV with 3-Year-Old Passenger Collided at Rural MN Intersection
The school bus-SUV crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 109 and 480th Ave. in the small town of Easton, which is about 30 miles south of Mankato.
The southbound school bus was traveling on 480th Ave. and the SUV was eastbound on Hwy. 109 when the vehicles collided, the state crash report says.

65-year-old Donald Lee Madden of Amboy, MN was identified as the bus driver. The State Patrol says he was brought to a Mankato hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two children riding on the bus, described as an 8-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy, were not hurt, according to the State Patrol.
The State Patrol identified the SUV driver as 72-year-old Marylou Sophia Alger of Minnesota Lake, was also injured. She was brought to hospital in Blue Earth with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 3-year-old girl was riding with Alger. She was not injured in the crash, the State Patrol says.
The drivers and the children were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
