We've got another new business coming to Rochester, MN. Conger Meat Market is expanding and coming to town. Yes, they are based out of Conger, MN which is just south west of Albert Lea.

I was at Wildwood in Rochester the other day when I happened upon the Conger Meat Market sign on a building nearby. A quick Google search showed me that they are, indeed, working on coming to Rochester.

Conger Meat Market Expansion

Right now, Conger Meat Market has 3 locations: Conger, Albert Lea, and Forest City, IA. They're currently working on doubling that number with not only a location in Rochester, but also one in Mankato and one in the Twin Cities.

Conger Meat Market Opening in Rochester, MN

The Rochester location is going to be right by Wildwood in Rochester, near TJMaxx.

At first, when my husband and I spotted it, we thought maybe they'd be offering a drive-thru pick-up option, which would be awesome. But then I realized that the location used to be a Dunn Brothers Coffee, so the sign and drive-thru window are just leftover from that. That doesn't mean they couldn't turn it into a pick-up option, but I doubt it.

There's no official opening date for Conger Meat Market. Their website just says 'coming soon'.
