Fall Colors Train Ride in Western Wisconsin

The Fall Colors Train ride is run by the Minnesota Transportation Museum and it takes you through the St. Croix River Valley. That's a stunning place, especially in the fall with all of the leaves changing!

This relaxing journey offers a front-row seat to nature’s best show, with views you can only experience from the comfort of a historic train. Sit back, unwind, and take it all in as vibrant fall colors stretch as far as the eye can see.

The train drops off and picks up from the same location, at the Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railway depot. The ride is an hour and a half and there are drinks and snacks available for purchase on board (including craft beer if that's your jam).

This would be such a fun and unique way to see the fall colors this year. Oh, and if your kids are into trains at all, the one you'd ride on for the Fall Colors Train ride is a restored vintage train.

Tickets are $42.80 for adults (16+), $26.75 for kids 6-15, and $17.12 for kids 3-5.

If you're thinking about checking this out, get those tickets sooner rather than later because the fall colors will be gone before we know it. They have train rides scheduled every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday through Sunday, October 25th this year. Some of them are already sold out, though.
