Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A worker died after falling from the roof of a Rochester home on Monday.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson. Officers responded to the scene around 9:10 a.m.

Man Falls to His Death While Working on Roof of Northeast Rochester Home

The worker had fallen from the roof of a home in the 2800 block of Oakview Dr. NE, according to the police report. 


Grayson described him as a 39-year-old man and said responding officers were told he had recently moved to Rochester from out of state. 

The worker was transported from the home to a hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance. He later died from his injuries, Grayson said. 

The man’s name has not been released.
