NORTHWOOD, Iowa (AP) — A northern Iowa court has agreed to reconsider the 10-year prison sentence of a Kensett man convicted of vehicular homicide.

The Mason City Globe Gazette reports that a Worth County District judge has set a hearing for reconsideration of 48-year-old Michael Chodur's sentence for Dec. 8.

Chodur was sentenced in March to 10 years for the Sept. 2, 2012 crash that killed 57-year-old Lynn Weedman, of Glenville, Minnesota. Chodur pleaded guilty last November to vehicular homicide.
