KROC-AM listener lauded for anonymous generosity

Tom Ostrom kept his pledge to not name names, but described how a regular listener and caller to Rochester Today with Andy Brownell expressed her gratitude to U.S. military veterans. 

Tom indicated she took money out of her own savings and purchased gift cards to a local restaurant. Those cards were then distributed to local veterans by the Rochester VFW Club as a way of thanking the veterans for their service.

It was her hope that others might find inspiration by her actions and take steps to show their gratitude for the sacrifices of our military veterans and their families.
