Lake City Firefighter Suffers Fatal Injuries in Traffic Wreck

Lake City, MN (KROC AM News) - Lake City is mourning the loss of one of its firefighters.
The Lake City Fire Dept is reporting Clayton Brandt was involved in a single-vehicle traffic wreck around 12:30 AM Tuesday. His fellow firefighters had to extricate him from the wreckage.
He was later airlifted to St Marys Hospital. The Fire Dept. says he was removed from life support around 7:15 PM Tuesday and died.
The Fire Dept. is asking residents to change their porch lights to red to celebrate Brandt’s memory and service to Lake City.
