The Minnesota Lottery says a winning North 5 ticket was sold in Rochester late last month. The prize remains unclaimed as of April 13, according to lottery records.

The winning ticket was sold at a Kwik Trip located at 2109 2nd St. Southwest. The prize for the ticket is $28,000 and was part of the March 31 North 5 drawing

The ticket sold for the March 31 drawing was the first of two large recent North 5 prizes sold in Rochester. A local North 5 player won $39,462 in the April 3 drawing. 

The lottery has an online option for claiming winning tickets that can be accessed by clicking here. Lottery players can also cash their winning tickets by visiting an authorized Minnesota Lottery retailer.
