Lengthy Prison Term for Rochester Man Who Sexually Abused Girl
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man who admitted he sexually abused a young girl while on probation for an earlier child sex crime has been given a lengthy prison sentence.
An Olmsted County judge Monday sentenced 26-year-old Michael Watson to 14 years in prison and he will be on conditional release the rest of his life when he gets out.
He admitted he began abusing the girl when she was 4 or 5-years-old. According to the criminal complaint, the abuse continued for several years.
He was placed on probation for 10 years in 2014 after pleading guilty to a case involving the sexual abuse of a child.
