Lieutenant Governor Gets First Catch of the Day

(KROC AM) -- Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith showed off the first catch in the Governor's fishing party this morning on Big Sandy Lake in MacGregor, Minnesota.

Thousands of people are braving the cold weather up north this morning in what has become the unofficial start of the summer tourism season in Minnesota.  Temperatures in the 20's make it one of the coldest openers ever.
