The Blooming Prairie Police Department took to social media on Monday asking members of the public for any help regarding shots being fired inside the city. The police are particularly interested in any information related to a home and vehicle being shot recently.

The post from the Blooming Prairie Police Department states:

The Blooming Prairie Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in an ongoing investigation that we are investigating.

On Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at approximately 10:30pm, a vehicle and house were shot at with a firearm in the area of 1st Street NE and 2nd Avenue NE in the City of Blooming Prairie.

If you have any information that you are able to provide to the Police Department regarding this incident, please call us at (507) 583-7885 and speak to the officer on duty.

Thankfully no one was injured in the shooting incident. If you've got a doorbell camera or other means of security device that may have caught anything you should contact the Blooming Prairie Police Department.
