Owatonna, MN (KROC-AM News) - Activities at a busy venue for the Steele County Fair in Owatonna have been disrupted by a death investigation.

A statement issued by the Steele County Sheriff's Office says a deceased individual was found near a vendor booth at the Four Seasons Centre on the county fairgrounds. Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the individual's death.

Coroner's Office Assisting With Investigation

The Steele County Coroner's Office is assisting with the investigation, and the Sheriff's Office says additional information will be released when it becomes available and the release does not impede the ongoing investigation.
