Arrest Warrant Issued for Wanted Twin Cities Woman Accused of Shattering Front Door of Rochester Home
Rochester police responded to the report of an attempted break-in at a home in southwest Rochester.
The warrant says the victim returned home from being out of town and saw the glass pane on her front door had been shattered.

Her neighbor had sent her videos showing a woman walking into the victim’s yard and approaching the door. The camera picked up loud pounding sounds followed by the sound of glass shattering, the complaint says.
The cost to replace the damaged door is estimated to be $6,231, according to the warrant.
Booking Photo and Camera Footage Used to ID Suspect
Upon reviewing the footage, officers identified the suspect as 62-year-old Janice Eve Welch of Maple Grove.
Police made the identification based on a jail booking photo of Welch taken six days prior to the incident following a trespassing call in southwest Rochester, according to the court document.
Court records indicate Welch was charged four days prior to the property damage incident in a stolen vehicle case in Rochester. She was released without bail following her first court appearance.
