Dodge Center, MN (KROC-AM News) -Two young children were among the five people involved in an injury crash this morning in Dodge County.
Two Children Among Five People Involved in Crash
The State Patrol says a Mayo Clinic Ambulance crew was joined by ambulances from three other communities in responding to the two-vehicle collision just before 8 a.m. It occurred at the intersection of Highway 56 and Dodge County Road 34, approximately two miles northwest of Dodge Center.
Jeep and Pickup Collide at Highway 56 Intersection
The preliminary crash report indicates the children and two adults, who are all from Owatonna, were in a Jeep that was traveling east on County Road 34 when they collided with a pickup headed north on Highway 56. The Jeep was driven by a 39-year-old woman, and the State Patrol says her passengers were a 29-year-old man and two young boys, ages 7 and 11.
The pickup driver was identified as a 76-year-old Dodge Center man.
State Patrol Has Not Released Injury Details
His name and the names of the people in the Jeep have not been released. The State Patrol has also not released information about the extent of the injuries suffered by the occupants of the two vehicles.
