(UPDATE) 2 Children Critically Injured in Dodge County Crash

Dodge Center, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol now says three people from Owatonna, including two young children, were critically injured in a collision this morning near Dodge Center.
An updated crash report on the incident, which involved a collision between a Jeep and a pickup truck at the intersection of Highway 56 and Dodge County Road 34 around 8 a.m., indicates the driver of the Jeep and two other passengers suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver has been identified as 39-year-old Marissa Dugan.
The severely injured passengers are 7-year-old Leo Niedzielski and 11-year-old Lewis Niedzielski. They, along with another passenger, 29-year-old Levi Kubista of Owatonna, were transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital. Kubista and the driver of the pickup, 76-year-old Steven Delzer, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the collision.
The State Patrol crash report indicates everyone involved in the crash was using seat belts and alcohol was not involved.

Two Children Among Five People Involved in Crash
The State Patrol says a Mayo Clinic Ambulance crew was joined by ambulances from three other communities in responding to the two-vehicle collision just before 8 a.m. It occurred at the intersection of Highway 56 and Dodge County Road 34, approximately two miles northwest of Dodge Center.
Jeep and Pickup Collide at Highway 56 Intersection
The preliminary crash report indicates the children and two adults, who are all from Owatonna, were in a Jeep that was traveling east on County Road 34 when they collided with a pickup headed north on Highway 56. The Jeep was driven by a 39-year-old woman, and the State Patrol says her passengers were a 29-year-old man and two young boys, ages 7 and 11.
The pickup driver was identified as a 76-year-old Dodge Center man.
State Patrol Has Not Released Injury Details
His name and the names of the people in the Jeep have not been released. The State Patrol has also not released information about the extent of the injuries suffered by the occupants of the two vehicles.
