MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Buses are operating in place of the Blue Line between the airport and the Mall of America after a train went off the tracks.

Metro Transit says the derailment happened Saturday afternoon. The middle car of a three-car train derailed near 30th Avenue.

There were no reports of injuries.

The trains were being replaced by buses on Sunday. Metro Transit officials say buses will run on a schedule similar to the trains, but could take longer.

Rail service between downtown Minneapolis and the airport is unaffected.
