The man who was killed early yesterday after being hit by a train in Winona has been identified as 23 year old Cody Wozney.  He was a senior at Winona State student where he was majoring in business. Wozney was from La Crosse.  The school is offering counseling services for staff and students.

Karen Johnson, Associate Vice President for Student Life and Development and Dean of Students, encouraged WSU students and employees to offer support to one another.

“Cody was a valued member of our community of learners,” said Johnson. "As we come together in the next few weeks to begin a new academic year, I ask that you keep Cody and his family and friends in your thoughts, and I encourage you to reach out to those who may be suffering and support one another during this difficult time."
