Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - The man suspected of robbing a Rochester bank late Monday morning was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly robbed the same bank for the second time.

A Rochester Police spokesman says 36-year-old Ryan Liskow was apprehended in Dakota County near Coates after an officer returning from a training class the Twin Cities spotted the suspect in a van on Highway 52. Investigators had information the driver of the van was the person who robbed the Sterling State Bank along Bandel Road northwest in Rochester during the noon hour. They also believe Liskow was the person who held up the same bank around 11:20 Monday morning.

Coincidentally, a reporter from KIMT TV in Mason City, Iowa was in the parking lot of the bank doing a live report on Monday’s robbery when Tuesday’s robbery was taking place.

Liskow's criminal history includes a federal bank robbery conviction for a holdup at a Minneapolis bank in 2009.
