The felony warrant, filed in Olmsted County Court on Wednesday, says the alleged assault occurred last month.
Rochester police found the victim bleeding outside of a Rochester Kwik Trip.

Arrest Warrant Issued for Rochester Assault Suspect Accused of Putting Victim in Hospital
Officers found the bleeding man shortly after 3 a.m. on April 19. He was seen sitting on the ground with a trail of blood coming from his right arm, the complaint says.
He told officers he was assaulted by an unknown man when he went to pick up his friend’s daughter.
At the hospital, the victim told police the assailant came out of the residence and began yelling at him. He then took off when he saw a shiny object in the victim’s hand.
The warrant says the victim was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where he had to be revived, given blood transfusions and received nerve repair surgery.
Officers tracked the blood trial to a residence on 10th Ave., where witnesses told officers the victim and suspect had gotten into a fight.
The warrant says a neighbor told officers he heard an altercation followed by someone saying, “great, now I have to go to the hospital” and a man saying “next time it will be a gun.”
Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Wyatt Harley Dahle of Rochester. Dahle contacted police to say the victim was intoxicated and that the two had started fighting, according to the warrant.
He said he grabbed a metal piece of weather stripping from a door and swung it at the victim, hitting him with the metal a couple of times, the warrant says.
Dahle is charged with felony third-degree assault.
The prosecution is requesting the warrant due to “the nature of the crime, the risks to public safety, and the possibility of Dahle fleeing or disposing of evidence,” the court document says.
