March For Life Scheduled Tuesday in St Paul
St. Paul (Learfield News Service) - Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life is expecting thousands of people for Tuesday's "March for Life" at the state Capitol.
The annual event is being held on the 46th anniversary of the Roe versus Wade decision.
The MCCL says the purpose is to commemorate the lives lost to abortion and call for legislative efforts to protect innocent human life. MCCL Director Scott Fischbach says there will be a push again this year for a law giving a woman the option to see results of an ultrasound before having an abortion.
The March for Life starts at noon and will be followed by a short program featuring pro-life speakers. Organizers say Minnesota has lost 638,000 lives to abortion since the 1973 US Supreme Court decisions.
