46-year-old Matthew Adamson was charged in both federal and state court after being accused of secretly recording 12 and 13-year-old girls multiple times from 2015 through 2023 in a changing room at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.

Court documents say law enforcement discovered the videos after Adamson was charged in a child sex solicitation case in which Adamson was accused of attempting to solicit sex from an undercover Rochester police officer who was posing as a 13-year-old girl.

Former Olmsted County, MN Detention Deputy Sentenced for State-Level Convictions

Olmsted County Court records indicate Adamson agreed to a plea deal with Olmsted County prosecutors involving the two local cases last month following his federal sentencing.

Adamson pleaded guilty to four gross misdemeanor counts of interference with privacy stemming from the video recordings in the county jail.

In exchange, the Olmsted County Attorney's Office dropped three felony child pornography charges and all of the charges against him in the child sex solicitation case.

Most Visited State Parks In Minnesota: Is Your Favorite in the List?

Minnesota has 75 beautiful state parks. The parks have an average of 9,700,000 visitors each year. Interestingly enough, nearly 19% of park visitors come from other states and countries, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Now, my favorite State Park is Jay Cooke in Carlton, MN, but it did not break into the top 5.
