Musser was reported missing Saturday morning. He was last seen leaving a downtown Stillwater bar shortly after 2 a.m. on Christmas Eve.

A news release says investigators reviewed surveillance camera footage that tracked Musser leaving the bar in sub-zero temperatures wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, shoes and a stalking cap. He moved south on foot towards the location where his body was discovered near the 5400 block of Osgood Ave. in Baytown Township.

The medical examiner indicated Musser’s preliminary cause of death was cold weather exposure, however an official cause of death is pending the results of a toxicology report. Officials say the results of the report could take up to 60 days to come back.
