Mega Millions Jackpot Now 2nd Highest in US HIstory
Undated (KROC AM News) - The Mega Millions game is reporting its grand prize went unclaimed in the Tuesday night drawing and it is now the second-highest jackpot in US lottery history.
The jackpot has grown to a record $667-million by the time the Tuesday drawing was held. It is currently at $868-million and has a cash value of nearly half a billion dollars. The game's next drawing will be Friday evening.
The largest ever jackpot won in the US was for a 2016 Powerball drawing that had a grand prize of just over $1.5-billion.
