Jacob Schlichter, an artist from Albert Lea, has two featured pieces being featured right now at the Southeast Minnesota airport. One of the pieces is titled "Alone With My Thoughts" and consists of a gorgeous night sky and a rural setting. Pops of red in a barn and yellow from sunflowers are what might draw your eyes at first but the night sky is what sticks out the most for me.
The second piece on display at the airport is a mesmerizing night sky with a touch of water, a key to what we know as the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
