Minnesota Company is Offering Thanksgiving Meals for Just $20

We're just about in the midst of one of the most expensive times of the year, I'd say. The holiday season is no joke on the bank account. But thankfully, if your bank account needs a little relief, there's a Minnesota company that's going to be offering Thanksgiving meals for just $20.

Most Expensive Holidays in the US

When looking up the most expensive holidays in the US, I kept seeing the winter holidays in general, including Thanksgiving, all getting lumped together. And according to Digg, we spend about $1,048 per person between the winter holidays in November, December, and January.

Of course, a lot of that spending comes from buying gifts, but regardless, that's a ton of money that we're dropping in a period of a couple of months!

According to the same source, the next most expensive holiday is Mother's Day ($196 per person), Valentine's Day ($162 per person), Easter ($151 per person), and Father's Day ($139 per person).

How Expensive is Thanksgiving?

The American Farm Bureau Federation comes out with a survey each year with just how much the average Thanksgiving meal will cost for a family of 10. This year's hasn't come out just yet, but for 2023 it cost, on average, $61.17 to feed a family of 10 for Thanksgiving.

With the holiday season being so expensive, anything to alleviate that expense is appreciated.

Target is Offering Thanksgiving Meals for $20

Target is now one of many companies that will be offering Thanksgiving meals at a really great price.

Walmart announced they'll offer Thanksgiving meals for $7 per person and Aldi is offering a 10-person Thanksgiving meal for $47.

Now Target is joining the party with a Thanksgiving meal for four for just $20! Last year, they offered the same meal but for $25.

Here's what comes with this deal:

You've got your turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and green beans for just $20. And, as Target mentioned in their announcement, if you have a bigger gathering, you can just buy two of the meals to feed 8 people.
